reunion of sorts

I was so excited to see our little butterball last night and despite the fact that I need to stay at least six feet away from her at all times I was hoping she would share my sentiment about our reunion. I have been hearing reports that she has been giggling and smiling up a storm and I couldn't wait to see the action in the flesh.

Not even kind of the case.

It went a little something like this (and yes I was talking/singing caps lock loud)

G: HI JULIA!!!!! I MISSED YOU!!!!!!!! HIIIIIIII!!!!!!

J: eye contact avoided

G: HOW ARE YOU??!??! WERE YOU A GOOD GIRL???? YOU LOOK SO PRETTY IN THAT OUTFIT!!!

J: still avoiding eye contact and sucking fist

G: JUUUUUUULIUHHHH!!!! HIIIII JUUUUULLLLIUHHHH!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!

J: avoiding eye contact, sucking fist and kicking legs

G: HIIII LITTLE LADY!!!! HOW ARE YOU???????

J: avoiding eye contact, sucking fist, kicking legs and shaking rattle

G: jerk. just kiddddding...I didn't say that...but I was tempted.



So. that was that. I'm in the process of constructing a giant Christmas Tree face mask that I'm sure will get her attention and better procure some vowel sounds on her part or else we might have our first little tiff.
