Julia is going through the phase in which e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g has to be 'eaten'...or at the very least...taste tested. From fellow babies to rat poison to plain white walls to the little ugly hair on my chinny chin chin...she just has to see what her inquisitive mouth thinks of the person, place or thing. So...when she spotted herself on the computer screen tonight she was true to her current developmental stage and tried desperately to bite a chunk out of her virtual self:
still fine tuning that depth perception obviously
and she is still going strong with her perpetual happy screeeeeeeeching. I'm not sure if it hurts her vocal chords or her ears more (I strongly advise that you turn the volume way down before pressing play):
and the happy melody continues:
Simon and I had a come to Jesus/honest Abraham moment bright and early this morning. . .
After listening to the painstaking details of two (of how many? I can only guess) dreams ...my glazed over look gave away my enthusiasm level for hearing about other people's dreams: 0%
In return, he informed me that he doesn't love hearing about the intricate lives of the blogging world's elite on a nightly basis...(but secretly he does...I just know it)
Score: one-one
Fair is fair.
Anyway...he kindly let me have this sweater back that I gave him for Christmas a couple of years ago. It is a perfectly nice sweater but is really cropped and shows off his belly button with the slightest movement ... so to my chopping block it arrived:
pay no heed to my sparkly updo and army pants...I had just played a 90 minute game of "no..you go to sleep first" with crazy J
ten minutes with the sewing machine, one bottle of victory vino and a glamorous comb over later:
slightest of improvements
and as a bonus...a little morsel of a project that Julia and I worked on today...
towel time for a fully clothed and very chubby babe
Have a great night.

I'm pretty sure in the past 2 weeks you have completely redone your whole wardrobe. I'm kind of jealous.
