1. lady in black gazing atherbelly
2. nostril flare, kidney touch
That's right. I'm documenting the world's only pregnancy and I'm starting nice and early so the world's inhabitants don't miss out. Plus, it was either this or more night float whinery ... or door number 3: nothing (which actually won the popular vote but I went with what felt right in my maternal corazon).
I know a lot of ladies have really rough pregnancies so I von't complain (too much) because I think I have it pretty easy in comparison but I am liking this side of the 20 week mark a lot more than I liked the other side. End of complaints about nausea and children that don't care about nausea and couch camping and the smell of the refrigerator door handle -- ending -- here <--- end.
I'm still pretty convinced it's a girl but I still pester Simon at work with multiple late night emails littered with boy names that he is sure to (and does!) reject. Alllll together now: "killjoy."

Um, I look more pregnant than you and there is no one currently inhabiting my uterus, at least as far as I know... Very cute outfit!
ReplyDeleteadorbs, you are. and teeny. very very teeny.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to hear more complaints about nausea and children who don't care about nausea - because thats where I am currently. How bad was it? How did you get through it? Did your husband also think you should just..."rise to the occasion"?
ReplyDeleteKilljoy Ignatius Patton has a nice ring to it.
ReplyDeletei don't get sick or anything really during pregnancy so i feel bad complaining about being pregnant ever. but let's be real: complain i do. it's my right as a woman. i think. and yes, you're the tiniest thing ever!!!! !
ReplyDeleteWhat I'd like to know is how you can have 3 babies so close together and still be as tiny as you are at 25 weeks. Insert whiny chorus of nofairnofairnofair.
ReplyDeleteI keep having this running joke inside my head, "Ha! Grace - you and I look exactly the same! (Except that I'm 10.5 weeks...)." Here's to hoping that actually writing it out and getting it over with, will allow me to look at the rest of your pregpics and just think, "Adorable."
ReplyDeleteAlso, thank you so much for linking to the belt. I've been looking everywhere for something skinny and similar and I had no idea yours was stretchy! Maternity life saver, you are!
I was feeling much sympathy for Simon when I read the first of what I thought was your boy name list, "Corduroy Tunic"!
ReplyDeleteCute baby bell!
ReplyDeleteI think it's a girl too....btw (not that my guesses really ever are right).
You are adorable. Seriously. You look awesome.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how tiny you are!!! I must look 25 weeks after nachos and wings nights at my house...probably a bigger belly, actually.
ReplyDeleteIs it possible for a pregnant woman to look cuter? Methinks no. I am currently 29ish weeks but I look a solid 67 weeks preg. Decidedly not cute.
ReplyDeletehusbands are rough on babynaming. Pia was almost not so. How sad would that have been? lol. You look v. cute and glow-y!
ReplyDeleteabsolutely adorable! i second every kind soul on the tinyness. seriously! where's that baby?
ReplyDeleteYou have the tiniest belly ever! and I love pregnancy updates :)
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful! Btw what Goodwill in the greater STL area do you recommend? I don't have anywhere near as much luck at mine!
ReplyDeleteGorg.
ReplyDeleteMaybe we should have a thrifting date over Christmas:D
I want that outfit now!!
ReplyDeleteI have just self-diagnosed with being 25 weeks pregnant. For the past year and a half. By the way, my eight year old ice-blond daughter asserts that black is THE best color to compliment her hair. So cheers to you for showing this off!
ReplyDeleteyou are a beaut.
ReplyDeleteMost beautiful preggers ever!! I am forever jealous of your gorgeous hair. You are glowing Grace! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a sorry excuse for a 25 week belly, sister. I see your bump and raise you a bag of mallowcreme pumpkins. To hell with the sugar-free diet.
ReplyDeleteLove that outfit. I want an elastic belt...
