My mood? awful, obviously. Go away.
Laura did an amazing job at giving birth AND typing out (my fave!) the birth story. Go forth and read part 1 here, and part 2 here. (And if you've ever had a newborn ... I dare you to tell me you can't relate to her latest post ... )
And speaking of birth stories ... a HUGE (belated) congrats to sweet Merrick and her fam on the arrival of their new little guy ... (but to be honest I'm having a hard time believing she just gave birth.)
She is the queen of DIY, she just had twins, and now she is making an old pair of flats look like something that walked out of a Madewell catalogue ... vat VILL She(ena) think of next?
I think maybe one person asked about the Downton Abbeyesque YA novel that I'm reading ... it turns out that it is actually a series. Lucky you.
I made Janssen's butternut squash enchiladas last night and they were really great. Praise all things good and holy for leftovers and a sweatless dinner tonight.
And this evening around 4:56 when it was already dark outside and felt like it should be midnight the kids had a little dance-off while I talk-yell-narrated. I'd say they are both winners ... don't want to crush any self-esteems at such tender ages. Here's the clip if you're dying to watch ... I understand if you'd rather not.

Aren't leftovers God's gift to SAHM? (And his curse on small children?). So glad they were a hit.
ReplyDeleteI watched the video and laughed heartily as is my routine when visiting the Camp. The kids have great moves... Even though Basher's may have come from a bottle of spiked something-or-other. (That was my favorite part of the narration.)
ReplyDeleteomg best video ever! i love their dance moves. and i'm always surprised when i hear bloggers' voices...i don't know what i expected yours to sound like, but it sounded different than i thought! (not bad or good, just different!)..i think this everytime i watch a vlog on any blog though ..
