1. I honestly checked her windows to make sure that we hadn't been victims of the weirdest break in ever when I found her crib in a state of organized the other day. I'm glad Dora on the far right is putting that brush to good use.
2. Her "stuffs".
3. I heard her purring, "oh, sweetie!" from the kitchen last night and came into the living room to find her sweetie ready to ride (or run).
4. (not pictured) I found one of her beloved Dora band aids tucked deep inside Theo's diaper this morning and I'm hoping she'll eventually share the thought process behind
that maneuver because band aids are normally reserved for shirts and "shoulders" (wrists)
.
Just another manic Monday with Julia child.
theo's fuzzy head peeking out is adorable...and the bandaid in the diaper was probably for safe keeping. at least thats where j keeps his favorite socks so the other kids don't steal them (i can only imagine that is the thought process)
ReplyDeleteThis made me laugh out loud! A Mama's day (life?) may be manic, but one can never call it dull!!

ReplyDeleteKids are so funny! Love the shoes on the bunny!
ReplyDeleteHilarious! I do enjoy hearing the story behind stuffed animals and other cuddly friends being put in various positions wearing different things. It's amazing what kids come up with, carry out, and the thought processes that go on along the way. Perhaps she was worried about the Runaway Bunny and figured strapping him in might be a good way to slow him down for a bit, so his mommy could have a break.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your delightful posts. I am sitting in a class giggling (attempting to be quiet) and delighting in your words/pictures.

As for #1:
ReplyDeleteI once had a cuh-raaaaazy roommate who, upon being asked if she had changed the laundry from washer to drier said OH MY GOD SOMEONE MUST HAVE BROKEN IN AND GOTTEN INTO YOUR LAUNDRY.
It was definitely her and she was about to be thanked, but felt accused? So weird.
