Grace: what?

Julia: oh!! Dis is my SONG.

A wordless slow violiny jam comes on Pandora ...
Julia: oh, I not wike this one. Dis is Bash's song.

Cut (hardly!) her gums from falling in the basement ...
Julia: (between sobs) I just need a kiss
Grace: okay (kisses cheek)
Julia: no! A kiss on my tongue!!
Grace: maybe later

Heard a crash come from the basement ...
Grace: Julia, are you being bad?
Julia: Yes, I are!!

In the car when a song comes on ...
Julia: Who sings this?
Grace: umm I think maybe Gwen Stefani
Julia: No, I think it's Pink

Watching me change Sebastian's bomb ...
Julia: um, I think he ate some chocwate cake

Watching me change into run/walking gear
Julia: Is that your belly button?
Grace: Yep
Julia: And those are your other belly buttons??
Grace: go find something else to do please

Taking another (rare) picture ...
Grace: Can you smile, please?



Julia: I are smiling.
Grace: Okay.

    The Tay-Swift one is my favorite! Followed VERY closely by the legs and the belly button. I don't care how bad my day has been - conversations with Julia make it awwwww better!

      I'm so sorry! The person/company sponsoring the giveaway decides on the mandatory entry (that unlocks the rest) and a lot of times it's via the Facebook. I know a lot of people have Twitter accounts solely for giveaways .. I'm guessing it'd be dumb to have an account just to enter giveaways? I'm full of bad ideas! But ... I am sorry Abby!

    Okay, so I have been on a mission since mid-yesterday to ratchet down my anxiety level from its three-year-constant of an 11 out of 10 to, well, anything lower. So I took a bath and drank some wine and went to yoga and did some sewing. So I was at like a 7.5 and very proud of myself. And then you come along and do a Julia today, and I laughed so much I am now totally a 4. Not quite as chill as my neighbor who reclines on her front lawn in front of the neighborhood as she waits for the kids to get off the bus, but that's probably a good thing...

    I are smiling, too, little J. I are smiling, too.

    Thank you for posting these. I am a grandma, and I cannot get enough of the humor of kiddos. I always told my son, now the father of 2 under 2 to remember that there were only two reasons to have children: Slave labor and comedy breaks. You will be so glad you wrote these down....
