Earlier this afternoon after I made a cup of coffee for myself ...
Julia: oooo may I have some please?!
Grace: no, not right now
Julia: (walking away) fine, but my teacher did say it's important to hydrate

Every single time I ask Phoebe a question ...
Julia: um, Grace ...
Grace: yes?
Julia: I have to tell you that Phoebe still can't talk


After she pushed Sebastian's bed away from the wall but mysteriously couldn't push it back ...
Grace: what's the deal?
Julia: well ...
Grace:
Julia: well, I guess I just ran out of strong

After Sebastian promised he ate his entire sandwich so that he might snag some ice cream for dessert ...
Julia: and you're telling the truth, Bash?
Sebastian: yes!!!
Julia: (sigh) okay, open your mouth and let me smell your breast

When no one laughed at her made up knock-knock joke recently ...
Julia: that was a joke only for Phoebe, anyway


My cue to ease up on the daytime Gilmore Girls marathoning ...
Julia: (sleep talking in the middle of the night) War-a-lie Gilmore? Is that you?

While Sebastian was sneezing very purposefully in her general direction ...
Julia: (hysterical) he's BLESS-YOU-ing ALL OVER ME.


After Sebastian found a bag of pecans at my grandma's house ...
Sebastian: hmmm what are these?!
Julia: let me see - I can read
Sebastian: okay
Julia: the bag says, "gross nuts"

After Sebastian asked her to read him the children's Bible ...
Julia: Okay Bash but I have to warn you ...
Bash: what?
Julia: everyone dies in this book

    BEST Julia post to date...."my teacher did say it's important to hydrate" and "everyone dies in this book" and, and....I laughed so hard at every single one of them! To spend a day with that girl would have me rolling! These pictures are just beautiful too....sweet, sweet girls!!! Oh and hey, what happened to Julia Styles?!!! :)

    So awesome. My son used to say, "She can't talk!" EVERY time I would ask my daughter a question when she was a baby. He'd even yell it from the other room. I was slightly insulted that he thought I didn't realize she couldn't talk. ;) And the pictures of Julia (and Phoebe of course) are beautiful!

    The last two. Oh my goodness. My 4 year old is also obsessed with pretending she can read. and "gross nuts" is exactly the kind of thing she would pretend something said. it's like there's something in the water... and only four year olds drink it.
