Simace: seven(ish) years in

You'd never guess but Simon has actually been begging for years to be included, in some capacity, in the fashion aspect of the blog. We all have our big and scary dreams that we rarely dare to utter out loud and his was finally realized this past week when Børn Shoes sent us both a pair of boots to try and give us an excuse to take some kidless photos together. Here we go!

I told Simon a couple of years ago that boots were back on the style scene for men and he didn't believe me until he saw his brothers and some of his friends rocking boots and then he admitted that it might be nice to have some that weren't his worn pair from high school.

I hate to say, "I told you so ... " but ... I did.

Børn strives to walk the fine line between style and comfort which can be difficult when it comes to shoes but they knocked it out of the park with my Garcias and Simon's Melicks. I'm scared that my boots have ruined a lot of my existing shoes because now I'm going to hold the rest of my footwear to the highest comfort standard.

We never took engagement photos but I'd like to think that if we did we would've struck a little pose like the following ...

And Bosco refused to be left out so we let him have a little taste of the glamour ...
